No. The guest scans the QR code on the table with their phone camera and the menu opens in the browser. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and nothing for your staff to explain.
The dashboard and the guest app ship in Greek and English. Menu items, descriptions and categories can be entered in as many languages as you need, and the guest app shows the one matching their phone or their selection — which matters if you serve tourists.
Three plans, priced per outlet, per month, excluding 24% VAT: Basic €29, Advanced €49 and Premium €79. Committing for a year takes 20% off, and for two years 30% off. The first month is free and does not require a credit card.
No. You pay a fixed monthly subscription per outlet and keep 100% of every order, however many you take. This is the main difference from delivery marketplaces, which charge a percentage of each order.
Yes — one month free, with no credit card required. At the end of the month you choose a plan and how long you want to commit for.
On the monthly plan, yes, at any time. The yearly and two-year plans trade a commitment for the 20% and 30% discounts, so those run for the agreed term.
No setup fee on the standard plans. If you want us to source hardware or do an on-site installation, that is quoted separately.
Yes. Groups get custom pricing — email contact@hack-snack.com with how many outlets you run and we will put a quote together.
Every table has its own QR code. The guest scans it, the menu loads, they pick items and modifiers, place the order and can pay in the app. The order lands on the kitchen display and the waiter PDA at the same moment, already tagged with the table it came from.
Yes, on the Advanced and Premium plans. The kitchen display replaces paper tickets with live digital ones, colour-coded by how long they have been waiting, and supports multiple stations so the bar and the grill each see only their own items.
Yes, through the Viva Wallet integration. Guests can also split the bill among themselves, or simply pay at the till as usual.
Yes, on Advanced and Premium. Upload a CSV or Excel file, or photograph your paper menu and let the AI import read the items, prices, descriptions and VAT classification out of the picture.
There is an optional e-food integration that brings e-food orders into the same system as your table orders, so the kitchen works from one screen instead of a separate tablet.
At minimum: a phone or tablet per waiter for the PDA, a cloud-connected receipt printer for kitchen tickets (any PrintNode-compatible model, typically Epson or Star), Wi-Fi at the venue and printed QR codes for the tables. Advanced and Premium also want a screen for the kitchen display.
Yes — guests order over their own mobile data. Guest Wi-Fi is still worth having, because it makes the menu load faster in basements and on crowded beaches.
From signing up to taking the first order is typically one to two hours for a small menu, plus the time to print the QR codes and put them on the tables. The team helps with the menu import, the printer and the QR placement.
Yes, automatically and in real time. Every receipt and invoice issued through Hack Snack is transmitted to myDATA, with the VAT rate, the AADE category code and the plastic-fee count configured per menu item.
Yes. Both retail receipts and B2B invoices are supported, each with the correct AADE classification.
The AADE-specific features are optional. Outside Greece the platform still issues proper receipts — it just does not transmit them to the Greek tax authority.
Yes. Orders, customers and menu data can all be exported from the dashboard. Your data stays yours.
